Who I am:
I am a UX Researcher / Designer by career, a Behavior Analyst and Biologist by trade, and a Perfectionist at heart. I have experience with user-centered research and design, product management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding behavior and designing environments to achieve the highest possible usability and accessibility is the passion that drives my love for UX.
What I do:
UX Research is, first and for most, how I see the world. From brainstorming hypotheses for all the ‘bad UX’ to geeking out over even the smallest feature that is perfectly intuitive. I live and breathe UX even beyond my career. In the video and board games I play, I continually observe how the game is laid out to evoke or prime certain behaviors in a player. In my role as a Dungeon Master in Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), I experiment with how the player characters interact with various environmental designs and continually adjust to weave a story that will captivate and enthrall. Even when it comes to my everyday life, I continually practice compassion and diligently observe the needs of my loved ones to take care of them in the best ways I can. All of this, not because of any self or externally imposed pressure, but because that’s how I make sense of the world.
I love to meet new people and discuss any manner of topic, so if you have a question or just want to reach out, send me an email or connect on LinkedIn.
